Friday Cool – Galimard Revisited

Just in time to tempt us for Christmas, Galimard send us a flyer to tempt us again so I’ve got my eye on a selection box of six fragrances and a larger bottle of Bel Canto. Just waiting for Lady P to get her selection in and then we will place our order!

Friday Cool – Crew Clothing Company

There’s a shift happening in British life. Rural areas are transforming into cultural hotbeds. The coast and countryside are being rediscovered and reimagined. Thus argues Crew Clothing, who go on to say:
Innovators, makers, owners, creators – people with an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for a life better lived are doing things their way. They’re looking for space to think, space to do, space to be. Smart for work, casual for play isn’t how we live anymore.

Say hello to a new attitude to dressing. A flexible wardrobe fitted with classic designs, modern fabrics and fresh colours.

Lady Peanut now out of the working channel of her life finds this Smart.Casual ethos easy to embrace. Today she scooped up two of their outerwear offerings – a gilet in cream and a navy jacket.

A 20% discount on retail prices combined with excellent quality finish and perfect fit forced her hand.

Give Crew a look in they are sitting in the right niche of the market.

Friday Cool – Coleman’s Vintage Damask Italian Wallpaper

Beastie Folly is a Victorian property with mock Georgian styling crossed with the Cheltenham Stucco style. In keeping with ongoing home improvements the hall, stairs and landings are being redecorated. The wallpaper is being sourced from Coleman’s Vintage collection and is a light cream damask in a heavyweight paper.

The staircase currently has the cheapest banisters, spindles and newel posts and these are being swapped out for some of Howdrn’s finest to be finished in Timeless white with mahogany stained banisters.

Friday Cool – Garbs and Carbs

Shelsley Nostalgia is just around the corner. Worcestershire’s very own Goodwood Festival, held at the famous Shelsley Walsh hill climb. A snappy jacket from Gurteen and some Chinos should cover the Garbs for the occasion.

Shoes by Bugatti or Imac will also suffice, while a Summer Trilby or Panama will shade the head.
