Friday Cool – Coleman’s Vintage Damask Italian Wallpaper

Beastie Folly is a Victorian property with mock Georgian styling crossed with the Cheltenham Stucco style. In keeping with ongoing home improvements the hall, stairs and landings are being redecorated. The wallpaper is being sourced from Coleman’s Vintage collection and is a light cream damask in a heavyweight paper.

The staircase currently has the cheapest banisters, spindles and newel posts and these are being swapped out for some of Howdrn’s finest to be finished in Timeless white with mahogany stained banisters.

Friday Cool – Shirts for the Wardrobe

Cox of Malvern carry stock of Olymp European non iron shirts. This one is perfect for smart casual with its polka dot trim cuffs and collar, and white buttons and Red Cross stitching. This is done in their “Modern Fit” which is fitted to eliminate excess material but not so fitted that it looks like a second skin. This is a very neat tailored look. Perfect for under a tailored jacket.

Wrangler have put together a lovely turquoise and navy check over a cream base for those short sleeved casual shirt which perfectly compliments their jeans range.

Friday Cool – The Summer Hat

This morning was spent tracking down the perfect Summer hat and after much anguish and debate a Denton Panama style was settled on. A classic genuine Panama from M & S came close but Lady P felt it was just too flimsy for my somewhat clumsy care. To be honest I was happy with all of them and was quite taken with the light grey trilby but it wasn’t the hat for the classic car revival we are going to.
